Im new to emulators for the xbox and i was wondering if someone could clear up a few things for me. First of all i donwloaded xsnesx and surreal 64 and i have extracted the files. i have roms already and i know that i must put them in the respective folders. What i dont know is if i have to have my xbox modded with evo if i want to just burn the program and roms to a dvd. And i wantedf to know if its even possible to burn to dvd and have noting on the xbox harddrive.

Yes, it is possible to run multiple emulators and roms from a dvd. Download Craxtion4. It has a multi-game wizard. But it would be best that you ran the emulators from the xbox hard drive. The whole purpose of modding its to play from hard drive and avoiding using the dvd-drive, If you need to use it, use it only to minimum. The laser is not eternal and we need to make it last as much as we can. Running the emulators from dvd will put much stress on the drive.

Ok so i downloaded the program and started it up. I went to Create new Iso and Added my surreal 64 folder to be converted to iso. Within this folder was the .xbe programs, the rom folder with a few roms in it, and a media folder with boxart. It created the one iso and then i burned it to a CDR. I then put the disc in the Xbox but it could not recognize the disc. Do u have any suggestions with what im doin wrong.

Alright the disc did not work and i read on some forums that you need to try different media. I have tried DVD+R and DVD-R, DVDRW, CDRW, and CDR and i cant get it too work. Any suggestions. Also i dont have any evox dashboard or any mod. Do i need one of these things to get it to read.

In order for you to run any homebrew application, you should have modded your system first by softmodding or installing a mod chip.

What folder do I FTP the files to?
It all works, I have a C, E, X, Y and Z drive, then the D drive is for CD's/DVD's.
I looked through file explorer and didn't get any folders like apps. I did find Tdata/Udata. Where do I go, guys?

If you live near a store chain called Fred Meyer or Kroger, I believe they have the Xbox Action Replays on clearance right now. You can get it for like, 16 bucks here in Washington.

Ok i got my xobx modded with unleashx runnin as my dashboard. ive created an iso using craxtion of xsnesx with some roms, surrel 64 with some roms, and neogensis with some roms. All iso have the right default.xbe and path name. I can look up the disc and it contents in file explorer and eveything is fine. But when i try to run the default.xbe on any of them they get stuck on the loading screen. it will say loading surrealxxx orsnesx but just stay on the loading screen. Any one got some help.
