I am also a newbie to this whole PSP modding thing, that being said I screwed up and upgraded to the new 3.52 FW. I know there isn't a downgrade for it yet besides Pandora's batterery I hear so much about. What I really want to know is what is the most ideal CFW for running mods, Homebrew games, emulators, etc. There are so many out there and I don't want to make another mistake. Any info here would be great.

Well ya you will need to have/make/borrow a Pandora's battery or wait like a year and pray a downgrade comes out for 3.52. Anyways you should probably update to 3.40 OE-A if you want your PSP for applications custom XMB's (wallpaper and icons) and emulators but if you want it more for just games you should probably go to 3.52 m33-4. 3.40 is more compatible with applications and emulators and stuff like that. 3.52 is has more bug fixes and is compatible with more games and able to support more game using no UMD mode.

you can change the theme in 3.52 M33 on the same level as what you would with 3.40 OE

3.52 m33-4 and im experiecing weird problems

i think we should wait for 3.52* coming out by wildc*rd soon

m33's constant updates just scare the crap out of me, although i know they do it for the good of psp users

with that said, i still think m33 has bugs.
