Hi all.Am usually not bad setting up systems but this has me flumoxed!
I got a Cambrige azur 540d.I just bought a Tannoy efx sub and a Panasonic tx-26lxd60 (hdmi,hd etc etc)
Now my question is.....
Whats the best way to wire this up ?
So many different connections but which ones give the best sound.?
My Sub says "use left channel for av/lfe sub input ? What the hell does that mean?
Any help really appreciated.

your subwoofer is it a powered sub? if it is you should have a input marked input and it is a rca type jack if so you need to run a cable from the sub output on your receiver to sub input on the sub HDMI inputs on your tv will give you the best picture but you need a HDMI output from your cable box or sat receiver if you do not have a HDMI output you will need to use componnet cables to receive HD programing

Hi,am still puzzled.
Got a power sub with 2 outputs(l&r).
It says use left for LFE input.My amp has one sub input and it seems to work in both the l & r on the sub.
When I press the dolbyII the volume goes right down and I can just hear squeeking out of the 2 rear speakers.
Would I be better attaching speaker cables from the sub to the amp?
Digital coaxial,optical on the amp.
No sub on tv,just the usual audio plugs and the hdmi sockets.
What gives the ultimate audio.
I am using a digibox to connect through.

use your sub output from the amp to your subwoofer r/l makes no difference when you press Dolby 2 the sound drops that is normal your rear speakers will only work when there is surround info from your source dvd player or what ever do not use speaker wires to your sub the reason for thoes connections is if you have no sub woofer out on your amp then you use speaker wires the cable to use for the sub woofer can be coaxial or any audio cable will work
