hey guys, haven't posted on here for a while but a problem has come up
i have a modified wii with a wiikey ver. 3.0E and have been playing my backed up metroid prime game, have gotten through about half way when i started getting dre's while the game was playing, and now i can only boot to the menu and i get a message along the lines of "the disc cannot be read please read your gamecube manual". i have tried using a GCOS to boot it but id did not help, all my other gc games work fine and are all burned on the same media tdk(TTH02)
thanks in advance to anyone who can help

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but the first time I loaded up the Metroid3 disc, even though my system is updated to 3.0U, the update screen launched. Apparently there is an update specific for Metroid 3 that you need in order for it to work. It might suck, but you might need to borrow a legit copy from a buddy or rent one (that's assuming yours isn't an original). The only reason yours might have skipped the update is that the brickblocker might have been run on it, removing the update check.
Let us know what happens.

Try buringing the image file using CloneCD at the lowest speed on fujifilm DVD-R media (works best for me).
