Im having trouble staying online with my PS3. Every other minute I get disconnected from the playstation store or playing an online game with an error code. When I try a connection test everything is fine, except my communication may be restricted (NAT Type 3). I called sony and they said that it could be my router. Im using a limksys wireless router (WRTP54G). Sony gave me some these port numbers to enter to my router,
Tcp ports 80,443, 5223, 10070-10080
udp ports 3478 3479 3658 10070
udp ports 6000-7000 50000

I just don't know what section or what port of the router site I can emter these in.

i had same problem it is a pain....

things to find out b4 configureing your router is

try connecting your pc Directly to the modem when doing this you should get NAT 1 if you do not get nat 1 you will have to call your ISP and get them to open your ports

if that does not work you have can try makeing your ip a STATIc and not dynamic and then find out the PS3 ip and go to DMZ and enter it in so that all ports for ps3 will be open
