Not exactally sure but it is prior to the 3.0 update. I believe it's the 2.2 version.

Anyone know for sure? It's been so long since I've played this.

Yeah it's 2.2. 2.1E PAL users who updated with the NTSC version of Mario Party 8 received the update and that's what started the infamous bricking.

I have 2.1E running at the moment, put in the PAL Mario Party 8 and my wii did not update, never asked.

I still play it, and i've still got 2.1E showing in the settings.

So i dont think it has 2.2E...
