thompson drive......... laser removal to fix disk read error

okay, so i got into the dvd drive, its a thompson and now i want to tweak the pot on the laser, only problem is that my drive is a thompson and it seems almost impossible to get a screwdriver in there with the laser still attached to the drive.........

my question is, how do i remove the laser so i can tweak the pot more easily?

p.s. if anyone has a dvd drive they want to sell me for cheap, email me and make this whole process allot easier for me. thanks.

You'll need to remove the Thomson laser to get the red glue off the pot anyway!
