Metroid Prime 3 hangs WII?

I just burned Metroid Prime 3 on Taiyo Yuden DVD-R and put it in my WII with WIID installed. The game has an update on it. It asked me to update before playing the game. I went to WII Settings and checked my firmware version. It said ver.2.2u I then went back and update the firmware through MP3 game. After it's done, I can see the opening video of the game. I click A button to go into the game. It's at this point that the TV screen is blacked out for a long time. I push the power button and it doesn't turn off. I ejected the game and the screen still black. I then hold the power button until the system is off. I tried the older backed up games like Transformer and still works. I just can't play Metroid Prime 3 backed up. Anyone with success with WIID with Metroid Prime3 Back up?

there already is a thread devoted to this. I am in the same boat as you, well my friend is and I am trying to find out what the problem is. Many suggest updating the firmware before you pop the MP3 disc in. If your disc loaded and you saw the movie I think you just may need to attempt burning the game again at 2x with clonecd. (what i read)
