Okay so I had the ethernet connection for my xbox on my DSL thingy very crappy and laggy I may add...
then my GF decides to buy me the wireless adapter and now im feeding from my friends T1 connection :p loving it...
but after 5 minutes of killing samurais on tenchu ( or any other game ) the connection is lost, so I try to reconnect and I cant...
then I decide to test my connection and it says that the adapter is not phisically pluged to the xbox... so I desconnected it and pluged it back in. and it worked perfectly... for another 5 minutes?
so I need help what can this be and how to get it fixed?

try plugging the adapter inthe front usb to see if its the usb port on tha back of the console. and if its the adapter then take it back and exchange it.

aparently is my 360 or something im doing really wrong, I tryed the usb on the front and same result I took the adapter back to the store and got a new one same thing... so frustrated as I was I left the adapter connected and went to work, come back and my GF was playing online for hours and no errors, so I tryed to play and everything was good, it did it again that night, and then it was ok in the morning, I wanna add that im not a hardcore gamer, I play like 2 to 3 hours a day if that and I have the cooling fan by pelican and a well ventilated area for the 360 and A/C in the room blowing at 73Fs so any ideas?

how many wireless devices are on in the house at the same time that can be a factor.maybe a laptop cordless phone,is the 360 near a microwave oven, perform a speed test on your connection.

I have a laptop and a desktop running wireless, but read the tread... The wireless works great, is just that the xbox stops reading the PHISICAL wireless adapter, I mean like the hardware...

yeah it probably has to do with the fact that your using a neighbors wireless. try moving it closer to his house. or take it in his house and try it.
