I am having an unusual problem with this program, which never happened in the past.
There's a Divx file which I load to make the DVD, along with its two subtitles.
As usual I went into the subtitles menu and set the color grey for them.
The problem is when the copy came out they were enormous, like size 72 or more, all over the screen and yellow color instead of grey.
So I went back, using size 18, and color grey again. Result: size 72 and color yellow. It seems as if the program is not accepting my settings.
Any idea on what might be happening or what to do?

Now I am using version 2.1.8.193, and the problem is solved.
There's a specific menu for the subtitles, and you see a sample as you change things. Much better.

Nidesoft seems to convert DVD to Ipod and other phone media. So it has to lower the quality in order to fit the size.
I do the opposite: take Divx compressed files and get them back to regular DVD size, 4.7Gb sized or so.
