As title says Can I Play Downloaded ISO,s On Firmware 3.10 OE-A?
I have downloaded a Winrar file which I have extracted, and now have an Image File. Do I have to mount this file with Deamon?
Or do I just extract it to the PSP?
Which folder do I extract to?
Do I need Devhook?
All advice welcome!!
Thanks In Advance

With CFW (in this case 3.10 OE-A (which is now outdated, maybe think about upgrading to 3.52 M33)) you don't need emulators to play games.
When the game is in ISO/CSO form, place it at this location: ms0:/ISO/ and they should show up on your game menu on the XMB, you can run them directly from there.
PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB

Some, if not most ISOs I've tried do not work unless you have to right CF upgrade.
I = UNPWNABLE.

The game that I have downloaded comes in an Image file, is this still classed as an ISO?
What is a CSO file?
Also you say that the game should show up on your game menu on the XMB.
Whats the XMB?
Do I have to create the following folders ms0:/ISO/ or should that already be on the memory stick?
Thanks very much for all the advice.

Quote: The game that I have downloaded comes in an Image file, is this still classed as an ISO?
Yes, that should be an ISO
Quote: What is a CSO file?
A compressed ISO, so they take up less room, but still work the same. Sometimes games come in this format already, or there are programs that can convert ISOs to CSOs.

Whats the XMB?
XMB = Cross Media Bar, this is what Sony calls the PSPs main "menu"

In custom firmware, if you format your memory stick through the option on your PSP it will create the right folders for you, but you can easily create them manually, the ms0:/ symbolises the PSP drive letter, eg: F:/ISO/.
ms0 is what most people will refer to when showing you folder directories for the PSP.

Got the games working, thanks for all your help, had to upgrade to M33 custom firmware for some of the games.
Just one more question, a couple of the games I downloaded aren't in an ISO file or CSO, they are in a folder 12 files in total "dfc-tdue.001" through to "dfc-tdue.012" they are all the same size file, apart from the last one.
How do i install these?
Many Thanks

That's just a split archive, open the first one (.001) with winRAR and you'll have the full ISO/CSO.
