This is sort of a Vague Question...When you say a DVD Movie on your HD what do you mean?? Is it a Video_TS folder or is it a Bunch of VOB files or is it just an AVI file that says it was a DVD rip??Were did this Movie come from?? Depending on what type of files they are would determine how you would Put them on DVD ..and you don"t Rip a Movie to a DVD you can only Rip a Movie Off of a DVD..So if you leave some More Info then I"m sure we can help...Cheers

I have the program "DVD X Copy Platinum/Rescue" and I went to rescue a DVD Movie that I own because it would not back up, rescue saved it to my HD and the program froze. Now I have a DVD movie on my HD and do not know how to get it back on a DVD. X Copy can not do this.

You still didn"t answer the Important Question...What Format are the Files...Did it save your DVD to a "Video_TS Folder" or did it save it as a Bunch of VOB files??...If it is a Video_TS Folder then you can burn it with Nero, Just choose "DVD Video" as the Burn Format then Drag the Video_TS Folder into the Nero window and Burn it....If the Folder is too big to fit on a DVD-R you can use something like DVD Shrink on it to shrink the Folder down to Size and then you can burn it....Cheers

How ever the DVD is originally written is how it is on my HD. one file says VIDEO_TS IFO File. There are 38 files in all, some are 18 VOB,10 BUP and 10 TS,When I double click on the first TS file the movie plays.
It is exactly like a DVD.
Is the shrinking program something I can buy, maybe at Best Buy?
Forgive me if I sound dumb about this, I have only ever used X copy and that pretty much does it for you when it works.
Thanks

Well you should be able to Put ALL of the Files in a Folder and Name the Folder "Video_TS" and then Burn the Folder to DVD useing Nero in "DVD Video" Mode...If all of the Files in the Folder add up to More than 4.38gb then you can use DVD-Shrink to shrink the Folder to 4.38GB so it will fit on a DVD..DVD-Shrink is Freeware and you can download it at this site : http://www.dvdr-digest.com/software/software.php?file=dvdshrink
It also has info on the Program there and if you have any Problems you can post them on this on this Forum...Good Luck
