Well I recently got a HDMI to DVI cable because my TV is crap and the PS3 looks horrible on it.

I am trying to connect it to my LCD monitor thats about 2 years old its a Acer 1951 AL monitor.

Problem is even after attempting ot reset the settings on the PS3 I get no picture whatsoever.

I am aware I won't get sound and thats fine this is just a 3 month fix until I can get my HDTV.

Please any help would be appreciated if there is a reason why I won't get a image.

yuo need to make sure your monitor has hdcp built in or it won't work.
