wii PAL wiikey original v3.0 wii firmware


hey , i updated to 1.9b wiikey firmware as soon as i saw it was leaked , all my wii games and current gamecube backups work.

Gamecube: (metoid prime 1 and 2 , luigis mansion, mario kart , RE zero , smash bros, mario sunshine )

But just today i aquired a copy of starfox (Star_Fox_Adventures_USA_GC-RARE) and burnt to a verbitim disk @ 3x the same way i have burnt all my gc backups and wii games ( BTW . All my 15 wii backups still work perfect ) but starfox wont boot up from the wii menu .WHY

is this because of the firmware upgrade or possibly a bad image?

can someone help . thanks wiimii

You're going to need to do the GCOS swap trick if you want to play import GC titles. Because of the 1.9 leaked update, the direct boot of imports in GC mode was removed/reset and requires setup disc 1.3 (not released/leaked yet).

- Get a copy of GCOS, load it up.
- On the main menu there's a DVD boot option. select it and press 'A'.
- Eject the GCOS disc and insert the game you want to boot. Press 'A'.
- It will read the information and allow you to boot the game by selecting video output or choosing automatic.

I had to do this for my copy of Naruto GNT 4. Plays great.
