cannot browse memory card

my memory card was working properly until i tried to play a game online.. when it asked me to save my network settings..
but then the game didnt work.. instead it froze..
my ps2 freezes whenever i try to play a game online donno y..
and since then.. whenever i try to browse my memory card in the browser,it freezes..
im no longer able to delete old save games from my memory card..
even when i deleted the network configuration thing using the utility in the game cd.. i still cant browse my mem card...
and now the memory card is full :D i cant save anymore games
so what do u advise me to do ?
and is there any possible way to format my mem card without using the browser ?

You would need to get uLaunch 4.12 and burn it, then through that once loaded, you can use mcformat.elf to format the memory card.
I have uLaunch 4.12 that you can burn to DVD, just click my name to the left and go to my folder.
You do need to have your ps2 modded in some manner to boot ulaunch.

umm..
i think i dont have the chip ur talkin about..
plus.. i dont have a dvd writer..
so i dont think this way will work..
dont u have anyother way ?
it wud be better if i can fix it without formatting

Another way is you would have to purchase action max replay, it has a memory manager with it.
