I am running 3.03 oec devhook firmware.
I am having problems running iso from memory. The games all start but freeze or turn the console. I can play umd from drive and this never happends. I get an error on occsions of 80020148.
How can I go about doing a clean install of the same firmware??
I know the iso games work, as I have run on other psps in the past with same firmware of 3.03 oec.
Please can someone help me??

so your on 3.03oe-c, nice firmware choice. Everyone prefers 3.52 m33-4.. Its unbeatable. I suggests you go to that firmware rather than DAX's old ones. It must mean you need a higher firmware to be able to run the iso/cso. I rna into a lot of isos that i cant play on 3.03oe-c like perappa the rappa. Even 3.40oe-a sometimes cant play some newer games. So m33-2-3 or 4 is your best bet.

not everyone prefers 3.52M33
i myself Prefer 3.40OEA and there's no games released yet that require 3.52 so it's not that like that's a necessary upgrade just yet if he doesn't want to switch to another hack/dev group release yet.

i don't have an exact link handy, but if u goto psp-hacks.com and goto the download section, under i believe it's custom firmwares, or do a search using the search box on the top right of the site for either 3.40 OE-A or 3.52M33 it should direct you to the download page for either.

IMKim just saying what everyone else preferes and especially me. They got a lot of features that DAX's firmware doesnt have. You can easily find the 3.52 m33-2 Easy intaller if youd like through here in these threads. just search it. No umd function. All the latest themes and dope topmenuPlugins are for the 3.5x... U can flash your flash1 str8 from recovery.. flash 3 and 4 were added on the 4th update.. you can access recovery mode from the XMB.. I personally had no problenms with 3.52m33-4 it seems unbeatable. For now..

i don't have it, but i saw a lot of ppl saying that they had problems with it, but after they upgraded (to 3.52 m33) they had no problem
