I've used these before for standard data backup and all, but has anyone used Verbatim DVD-R's for Wii game backups? And if so, are they good? I'm only asking cuz 100 spindles of them are on for $20.

I got a 50pac yesterday for $30 dvd-r since that is what most ppl recommend but I am still unable to get my boot disc or backups to work. I'll post again if i get it to work with my verbatim 16x dvd -r

verbatims are what most people recommend for Wii Backups. I use memorex which work fine so far.

ps - you must be from cananda...i see that they are on for 20$ at futureshop...lol

I have backup all my wii/gamecube on Sony Dvd-r and Sony Dvd+r...They work flawless without any problem....Perhaps you guys should give it a try....Burn it with Imgburn at speed of 2.0x.........work very well

Verbatim DVD-R 16x, nero, burning 4x, Book Type Settings: Physical disc type. BenQ or LG Burner, No problem.

Verbatim DVD-R 4x, image burn 2x turned off burn proof and set write type to incremental(like someone else on different post did) all boot up fast except NFS carbon which too 3 times then worked...
