hi i just had a wiikey installed by a pro, and he ran the wiikey set up disc and it worked,
but when i brought it home, i tried running gamecube discs on it but it wouldnt read,
after that i tried putting in the installation disc, and it didnt run till after a few tries (version 1.2)
after that the console doenst read the installation disc at all,
i havent tried any backup games yet,
but original wii discs run perfectly,
does anyone have any suggestions?

figure out what media brand your wii likes.
if your wiikey update disk works. then your modchip is working.
try out some backups then comeback to us.

hi i used a verbatim -r dvd, and burnt it at the lowest possible speed,
i will try some ntsc back ups now, but before that i should connect my wii to the net and install the updates right? to prevent it getting bricked?
