Things You Need:
Gold Wave, (Or any audio file editor)
Lame mp3 encoder
An email account

[Im going to be using Gold Wave]
[My cell phone service is verizon]
[I am using a razr v3m]
[This may cost you some money if you dont have unlimited pix txting]

1. Open Up Gold Wave.

2. Go to File, open...(Choose mp3).

3. Go to the begining of the song and drag the arrow to where you want the ringer to start and go to the end of the song and drag that to where you want the ringer to end.(Note if you want it to fade out refer to bottom note)

4. Go to File, save selection as...Make file type mp3 and make sure filename is all one word.

5. Then go to your email account and Compose mail.

6. Send it to (your verizon number here)@vzwpix.com. (Make sure you add your area code in front of your number)

So for example...If your number were 4445656 it would be... (7164445656@vzwpix.com)

7. Attach ringer (mp3) The one you made from gold wave. (Should be small) Also make subject anything you want...

8. Then Click send.

9. Wait a few mins for text to recieve.

10. When you open your text the ringer will play. Then hit the options button and click save sound.

11. Then hit clear to go back to main screen.

12. Then go to get it now menu.

13. Now click on Get Tunes And Tones .

14. Then hit up and you should see your new ringer.

15. Click the options button and click asign as ringer.

16. There you go, your own home made ringer.

Fading out...Click Effect at top. Scroll down to Volume...Then click on fade out at the right. And then hit ok. Wallah your ringer now fades.
