wiimote not working with nunchuck

ok, I installed a wiikey in my system..
all was good...
games boot up...
however.. the wiimote only works without the nunchuck.
if I plug in the nunchuck, wiimote doesn't respond except for the the power button...
same issue on oeiginals... I removed the wiikey, same issue still!..
any help please???

Iv'e honestly heard throwing the thing against a wall works, but chances are that remote has issues have another to try it with?

no, I dont...
But I dont think so...
it was perfect before the mod...
all worked...
maybe I came close to the IR controller, sensor..
burnt something I didnt notice..
I dunno...
I can exchange it, but this was a perfect system, since it
was manuf. back in Dec 2006
