hi will i be able to take the version of the new psp slim and upgrade my old psp with it or are the ipl's completly different... and i dont think 3.60 oe or m33 will come cuz i dunt think you can combnine a completly different fw with 1.50 and the even harder aprt is installing it...cheers brothers.

Sony will release two different versions of each Firmware for PSP1001 and PSP2000 (PSP Slim). The reason for this is PSP2000 has a higher-end CPU, flash chip, and features explicit to it (such as the video output). The new PSP can hold more data on the flash, therefor the Firmware can be larger and allows more room for fixes. Also, Dark_Alex has confirmed he successfully has a copy of the 3.60 Firmware files, but won't give it to us, so it's useless to us. It's just a matter of time before M33 will decrypt it and reverse it, though. Just be patient.
