Problems burning Arita disks.

I am still having problems with my Arita disks (both x2.4 and x4). They are working in my Pioneer 106 absoultly fine. I am able to back up with no problems at all. However, I am still having trouble using them to burn on my DVDR980. The other spanner in the works is that I bought some Philips dvd+r x4 disks and haven't had a problem with any of them in either my PC or standalone.

Any ideas?
