I have a n00b question. Can I go from 3.02 OE-B directly to 3.40 OE?or do I need to downgrade all the way back to 1.5 and then upgrade to 3.40? Is there a tutorial somewhere ( a link would be much appreciated)

directly is fine.

download 3.40OEA from psp-hacks.com and it's in the readme how to do it from a custom firmware.
