Other than a larger hdd and the use of software emulation rather than an emotion chip to achieve backwards compatibility with PS2/PS1, the new PS3 specs seem pretty much the same. Why spend $599 on a 80gb PS3 when i can pay approx $400 and create a 1tb PS3? If you can't figure out how to connect a 3.5"hdd to your PS3 then the $599 80gb PS3 is definitely for you.
