More Info: So to make sure you understand I have sucessfully loaded Nes, Snes, Gameboy, and Sega through uLaunchElf
I can play roms through the USB Stick for Snes & Sega.
Here is my question(s)/problem(s): I have tried many different ways to burn roms onto a CD so I could play them on InfoNes and SnesStation but, failed every time.
Basically I need to know:
1a. How to burn roms to a CD for InfoNes?
1b. Is there a better Nintendo Emulator for PS2?
2. How to burn roms to a CD for Snes Station?
3a. How does InfoGB work? (I'm clueless on this one)
3b. Is there a better Gameboy Emulator for PS2?
Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this.
I really hope you will be able to help me out.
Quote:1b. Is there a better Nintendo Emulator for PS2?
The NES emulator I use is, It Might be NES. It is the most popular NES emulator to my knowledge and it has support for virtually every NES game that you're planning on playing, but I have found at least 30 games so far that do not work with the emulator.
I don't have my PS2 modded yet but, It Might be NES is supposed to work even better in a PS2 instead of a PS1.
Quote:2. How to burn roms to a CD for Snes Station?
If you are using a memory card exploit to boot the emulators, I'm not sure if you can use the .elf file to boot games off of a CD, because the PS2 will not be able to read the disc since it is not modded. If it works fine with the USB stick then why not keep using the USB stick for all of the emulators?
Those emulators that you have listed, I think are meant to be put onto a disc with the roms also included on the same disc. I really do not know much about memory card exploits and .elf files, but to my knowledge of emulators for use on consoles it is not possible, but I might be wrong since I didn't even think it was possible to boot roms off of a USB stick.
If there is a way to boot backup games with the memory card exploit, then you could just make an emulator CD with all of the rom's included on the disc, and just boot up the disc like an original game. You can only have one emulator on each disc, so you will need to have four different disc's in order to play each emulator that you have chosen.
If you find a way to launch backup disc's using you're memory card exploit, it is very easy to use IMBNES. You can go here to find all the information you need, on how how to add the emulator and the rom's to the disc.
