So my computers been running fine until tonight when...for no apparent reason... when i receive or attempt to instant msg someone i get a security warning that says it cannot find a program on my computer to open file name:"blank", type: "unknown", from c:\program files\aim\icbmui.ocm it gives me options to find save or cancel.

if i attempt to find it brings me to a microsoft app search page that says:

Windows has the following information about this MIME type. This page will help you find software needed to open your file.

MIME Type: n files\roxio shared\9.0\dllshared\;c:\program files\quicktime\qtsystem",,0,0,,,,

Description: UnKnown
Windows does not recognize this MIME type.

i'm not super computer savvy and have no idea what this is trying to tell me or why this problem suddenly arose...
so far i have attempted various spyware removal programs, reinstalling aim new and older versions, reinstalling my browsers and various other things...its driving me crazy...
any help would be appreciated....ty
