hi
I should be recieving my pandoras battery today and was wondering what N64 emulator everyone recommends.
I was wanting to play Mario 64, Goldeneye, Starfox etc. Also the same for SNES & NES
Also, are the roms the same as the roms used for the pc's n64 emulators (ie for N64 i think the roms were .n64. Do these work on the psp?)
thanks alot

to run isos straight from memory stick you will need a custom firmware,i recomend 3.52m33 it has the most features like the ability to rip umd video/games straight to your pc via usb and the ability to watch umd isos to it also has the best no umd needed driver aswell, for any other emulators use the search bar at thetop there should be lots of info here on afterdawn about them and where to get them
hope this helps
i have uploaded the latest snes emulator already set up and ready to go just to make it easier for you

if you need any help with the emulator when you come to use it or if you decide to upgrade to a custom firmware (because the 1.50 from pandora's battery is not the full one it's just a subset)just send me a pm

sorry for the confusion, the firmware you are on is official sony 3.51 to play isos from stick you will need a custom firmware there is a few to choose from but 3.52m33(not to be confused with sony's 3.52) is the latest and best one.after using pandora's battery and magic memory stick your psp will be downgraded to 1.50 however it will not be the full 1.50 it will just be a subset but it will be enough to let you upgrade, you have 2 choices you can either upgrade to the full 1.50(but you will need a programme to launch isos and won't be able to play the new games)or you can upgrade to a custom firmware(not official sony firmware)
hope this cleared up any confusion
oh by the way i found a n64 emulator for you
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=57977
it's called daedalus-psp r12

yes i think i have it. so 3.52m33 is a hacked version of 3.52?
Will the emulators run on 3.52m33 aswell?
Also ive seen some screenshots of psps main menu screen and they look completley different. ive seen some that look like mac desktops (with the gadget bar at the bottom) are these themees you can download or are these the versions (3.52m33)
thanks again again
