Is There a way to find out the region of a Wii game downloaded from the net as i dont want to brick my wii by playing n ntsc game and u can never be too sure with torrent sites.

is there a file on the download after u unzip that shows what region it is???

Usually when you download a .torrent file, it will say in the title if it's NTSC or PAL! When you search for a file, if you have a PAL Wii type in PAL with the game name that you are searching for, and it should bring up a list for ya! Other than that, there isn't really anything else!

just update ur wii before trying a new game

there is no definite safe way to be sure a game is a particular region as some releases have been changed with region fri and repackaged as something else but could still contain the update for the incorrect region update
