Difficulty Burning DVD on Studio 11 Plus

The first DVD I created had no sound.
The second video never completely burned on DVD. after a couple of minutes it just stopped. A window appeared asking if i wanted to send a report to Pinnacle I pressed send report and that didn't even work.
I am a novice as you can probably tell.
Stressed and tired found your forum on Google. Hope someone can help.
