Hi all, I've read over the stickies and threads for the last hour or so, and I'm still pretty confused. As the subject suggests, I just bought a slim PSP and my sole objective is to play ISO PSP games. Not homebrew, not SNES, etc (at least yet).

I've read the writeups but I still can't figure out EXACTLY what I need to do in order to be able to play these ISOs. I know the new M33 3.6 FW is out, and I assume this is required first of all, but a lot of people are saying its no good because it doesn't have 1.5 kernel. Is 1.5 kernel required for ISO play?

Assuming I can get the M33 3.6 FW on the PSP (which seems complicated in itself), and I have ISOs on my PC, how exactly do I play them? Do I just connect the PSP with the USB on my PC and dump them into the memory card and load them with the PSP? This is basically how my DS works.

Also, it seems that I will need a magic card and battery or something to get the 3.6 M33 FW on my PSP, but I don't have a fat PSP, does anyone sell (or rent) these two things?

Thanks for the help!

you will need the 3.60m33 firmware to play iso's,it will play the iso's,from the memory stick but won't run homebrew yet.
not sure about the situation with the magic stick and battery yet still reading up on it
you can get them off ebay for around 30 pounds
hope this helps(even if it's only a little)
