I just got a Psp slim last friday and would really like to install custom firmware so I can enjoy homebrews. everywhere that I read it says that I need a fat Psp to able to create and install the new M-33 3.60 fw on my slim Psp but the more I'm reading the more I'm getting confused.

My question is if there was no way to get my hands on a fat Psp to create battery and magic memory stick is there any other options?

With the magic memory stick I don't see why the program can't be just download and then put on my memory stick. as for the battery I'm not sure about that one because I don't fully understand How a battery can hold info, I did think about that I might be able to use the datel max power tool but not sure about that there is very little info on what it even does.

There are no options. Right now, D_A is gone, LE is barely catching up with 3.40, so M33 is the only one right now. If I was you, I'd wait until next week. By then, M33 will release their first update for 3.60. Also, Sony has released 3.70 Official. So don't bother worrying about CFM for a PSP1001 (fat PSP), as M33 will most likely focus more on the new PSP2000 than the old model. But for now, you NEED a PSP10001 to create Pandora's Battery and mod it for 3.60.

There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

The only other option is to BUY a Pandora Battery for the PSP SLIM off Ebay.
