i am playing tiger woods 07 ps2 online thru the ps3 and it seems really slow online .i am on virgin media cable broadband and they assured me that the service i am on is perfect for online gaming.is it due to other people having slower internet speeds that my game slows down or do i need to upgrade to the highest speed of broadband which my cable company said would be too fast! Proevo 6 works fine online so is it just tiger woods?

Check the manual for TG07 and make sure that you have the proper ports open on your router. I had major issues getting the game to work right off the bat, but after opening the ports, all was OK. Give it a shot.

i have my ps3 connected straight to the modem using the ethernet cable provided.i dont have any other computers in the house which is why all this online gaming is so new to me.thanku for replying though.i may get in touch with virgin media cable and see about upgrading to the highest speed .i just didn want to make things worse by opening the door to even more lagging in online games as my broadband speed will be the fastest in the uk available ,well acccording to virgin media it is.maybe i should just keep to havin my mates round.ho hum..
