I saw a you tube video where a guy was playing Final Fantasy VII and heard the IX was possible. Is this true?

I want to do this.

Also is it possible to run GameCube emmulators?

Yes you can play both FFVII and IX off your PSP. You need to make sure they are converted EBOOT KEYS file of the games so they can play on the PSP. The games usually come with a folder with the 2 files in it. All you need to do is drag the Folder into the ms0:/PSP/GAME folder.

What CFW are you using?

As far as I know there is no GameCube Emulator for PSP.

Try this its very easy to use and you dont need a keys.bin or a iso maker or anything else its all there. The only thiong you need is a ps1 game.

Does the pal version of ff IX work on the psp?

yep - just need to patch it to bypass the security block
