! GB Memory Card Problems

When I first downgraded my PSP I was using a 1GB memory card which worked without any problems at all. I've lately been using a 4GB memory card which also works without any problems, but now it seems my 1GB card wont work. The 1GB card isn't showing up in my psp, even when it's connected to pc via the psp usb cable. Even when I try to format the memory card on my PSP, the PSP says no memory stick found. The 4 GB card works great but am stummped with my 1GB card problems.

Any ideas would be great.

Maybe the card got scratched.
