Hi folks.

My little brothers ps2 worked for a while with a DMS EZI Lite chip, but in the end it now fail to load annything.

I suspect th LA 6180 chip to be dead and also the laser. I don't want to spend so much so i figured out i caould buy a mobo and a laser instead.

I have been googling wor a while now and the layout and srewholes is the same for both mobos (V9/V7) Will it work to buy a V5 mobo and put it inn the V9 ps2?

I have seen that there is diffent DVD drives for the versions but can i buy a 400C laser and install it in the V9 drive? OR do i have to buy a V7 drive?

The mobo im bidding on on ebay is this:
GH-019 Version 7 SCPH-3900x
works with:
KHS-400C laser

regards, Eivinn
