AR max wont recognize Flash Drive

Im trying to softmod my PS2 using AR Max but my PS2 wont recognize my Flash Drive. What am I doing wrong?

Try formating the drive.

if AR still won`t recognize the stick after formatting your thumbdrive it is incompatible with AR
try another one

I had the same problem, just delete the system configuration icon ion the memory card. works fine after that

Try Booting AR With Swap Magic helped me.put fdrive in load swap magic
then boot AR MAX
