Hi all, ive never done these forum things before frankly because i am a firm believer in figuring out my problems on my own, but i need help on this one....
Im definitely NOT a NOOB but im not a veteran to the PSP world either...
Basically, i heard of the Pandora battery a while back and was recently able to go to a friends house and try it out on his cfw....
so anyways i didnt know what guide to use, as i soon figured out that many either didnt work or werent specific enough...
so i downloaded the Pandora Battery GUI tool and it was easy...4 steps and that was it. I pressed X on the Battery creator, and i did save the EPROOM (or w/e its called) onto the stick before i created the battery itself.
I put both the battery and stick in my psp at the same time (my psp isnt bricked its just a fw 3.52, i know, im very ignorant, i apologize)and nothing happened, both the memory stick light and the WLAN light did not turn on, and my psp just didnt do anything....
So i tried making the battery again, and no luck...
Heres the funny part, my friend reformatted my 2 gb stick i was using, meaning the saved EPROOM (or w/e) battery info is now gone. Now as you know, the psp wont turn out with this new battery, but it can use power from the battery as long as it is turned on with the AC adaptor first...so i dont think my battery is entirely messed up....
My question is, have i just ruined my chances of getting a psp with cfw on it, or can i still use my semi-functioning battery to recreate the Pandora battery? Any info would be greatly appreciated

wow first of all give your pal a slap for formatting your card lol, just use the gui to recreate the magic memory stick, now follow these instructions
Usage:
- Insert Memory Stick into the PSP
- Remove power cord and insert the JigKick Battery into the PSP.
- A menu appears when the PSP boots. Follow the onscreen information
and instructions.
- Choose the option to downgrade to 1.5!
- That's it! have done!

Actusally, i have one more question
My friends laptop that we have to use to do this thing is running Vista (piece of garbage for now lol) so anyways i have heard that some pandora batteries and magic sticks werent able to be created with vista....despite the fact that ive ssen some youtube vids that clearly contradict that....so im just wondering...
is it better to use Vista (boo!) or XP (yay!)?
