How retarded is MS customer support!?

I called them last week because my PSU (power supply unit) fried on me after only having the console for 4 days.

I got a new PSU through the post yesterday, although it didn't come with a power chord. The original power chord was only a two pin to go into the PSU, although this new one is a three pin and MS have grooved the power unit so I can't regular kettle lead to use it.

I just called customer support to explain this to them for thirty minutes and they suggested to me to try and ram the two pin chord into the three pin adapter.

They're shocking. Sorry it's just my rant. They really need to know what they're talking about on the phone to be there to assist.

Any stories would be appreciated for a laugh.

My mate took his xbox 360 back to EB Games cause it was faulty, and instead of sending it to Microsoft they sent it to his house.

Can't find good help these days *end cliche*.

Edit: I actually worked at EB for a couple of years and heard a funny story about a kid with a Wii: He didnt use the wrist strap and it flew out of his hand, smashed through his front window and then got run over by a car.
