Is it a replica of DAX's firmwares or is it missing features...most importantly being the iso loader. Is it even compatible with most homebrews like gpsp or daedalus?
since your familiar with 3.40oe-a. EVERTHING m33-4 has is everything 3.40oe-a has BUT MORE. Thats all you got to know. Check the recovery when you upgrade. Who doesnt want to be at the highest custom firmware? Especially a really stable one. Go for it.

3.52 M33-4 and 3.60 M33 are both capable of playing ISO and CSO files, but not DAX. All homebrew apps, including gPSP is fully working. Because of the screen driver errors on the 3.60 Firmware, programmers will have to adjust their code for 2.xx for it to work. Don't worry, rumors are that Sony will stop releasing Firmware updates at 4.00 and focus entirely on PSP2000 model Firmware.

That sounds stupid, so they're going to give up the battle against homebrew, not bother trying to make firmwares that cannot be cracked, so we can't play new games...
Suits me fine, doesn't make sense from their view though, how will that work, put a game in the drive: "We have detected this is a Fat PSP, you do not need to upgrade"/"We have detected this is a Slim PSP, upgrade to 4.60 to play the game"? Sony may as well release a CFW 4.00 Fat PSP then, since it would be so easy getting there and staying there anyway...
