DVD Santa & subtitles not working

I've been trying to create a DVD + subtitles with DVD Santa for a few times now but everytime i watch the DVD from TV the subs are not there. The last time i tried it, DVDSanta even said something like "associated subtitles were found, do you wanna use them?" because i saved the subs on the same folder, so i clicked YES, burned the DVD and tried it, but nothing. The subs just are not there.

I first thought it was my DVD player, but the subs doesnt work on my PC's DVD drive either.

So, what am i doing wrong?
