Quick run Down

OS: Windows XP
Mouse: Logitech LX3

So i plugged in the mouse and right off the bat, Without installing their "SetPoint" software, And i noticed (for example) if i moved the mouse DOWN slowly, on screen it will act wiggly and actually move UP.

Normally i wouldn't care since it only happens when i move kinda slowish. But i do a lot of Photoshop work and it's horrible.

So then i installed setpoint and i guess its working as a temporary solution, It fixed the erratic behaviour of the mouse, But i have to use the goofy setpoint Mouse options, which is like "Pointer acceleration" and such, and the speeds just feel weird lol.

Any help? (i know it sounds like i'm just whining, But its worse than it sounds)
