GBA roms using PSP VBA

I have a couple GBA roms on my PSP and they'll start and if you're patient enough you can sort of play them.

The sounds is really crappy and gameplay is choppy/skippy/jumpy.

Any ideas why this happens?

You're using a really rubbish old emulator?

Try gpSP v0.9.
