x clamp not overheating

i tried the x clamp fix on my 360 and i did everything correctly but for some reason it wont overheat to give me two red lights can anyone help

Maybe you didn't tighten the heatsinks down enough. You can't tighten them down all the way but you have to be able to feel them getting warm. It took mine about 3 or 4 minutes to get the two red lights.
