I have a WiiD installed in my system, should I do the update? It says if I have any technical modifications it may cause my Wii to not work.

It will still work. My wii was 2.2U and after updating from the MP3 disc, it still was 2.2U.

This update won't brick your wii whatsoever. I also know of people who even had the 3.0U firmware and everything worked perfectly after updating via MP3.

Just to be careful, they don't currently have any updates that will fry my Wii because it had a modchip in it, right? Is it something they're working on?
