I set dvdshrink & dvd2one to 4486MB output size.
Nero v5.5 burns them at 4487MB-4488MB.
I have done about 20 dvd films all play perfect.

Why do some users set their sizes like 4300MB-4470MB.

They do it because of their media. Some DVD discs can not be burn't up to the edges because the quality degrades too much making the DVD freeze and pixelate alot.

They knock the size down so the data will stop short of the edge thus making a nice clean copy.
