i have a fat ps2, usb advance and i am trying to get my LaCie external Hard Drive to work with it. but the problem is my ps2 won't detect it. i also tried it with my mc exploit ulaunchelf but it still wont read it

What I have understood is that Lacie hard drives has problems with PS2. So maybe no other choise that to use other manufacturer :/ There is a list of working HD models at hdadvance.com.

Btw, I'm curios, why are you using external drive when you have 'fat' version of PS2 and possibility to use internal drives?

because i also use my lacie drive with my computer, and i still have over 300gb of space unused and i am using the ps2 mem card exploit, but my laser is dying out.
