Toxic Dual Layer Patch

I've read on various places that the only way to properly burn a dual-layer disc backup is by using this patch. However, when I download this, my anti-virus automatically picks it up as a mal/packer virus and quarantines it. I'm just wondering if other people have used this and are okay with it, since it could just be an overly-active anti-virus programme.

Well its hard to say, if you know that you're actually getting the toxic patch, then turn off your antivirus while u download it. If you think it's comin from a an unreliable source, it well could be a virus.

Where are you downloading it from?

I have downloaded it from this site, from the author's site, and from another forum, and the .exe files were all quarantined by my anti-virus.

Sorry, I should specify that my anti-virus kicks in and quarantines the .exe once I extract the file. I can download the original file fine.

As long as you know it's DEFINITELY the toxic patch, just temporarily disable your anti-virus and run the exe file.
