I have uLaunchELF downloading now....I need to know....how do I go about putting the ELF's onto my usb device and booting them? I have swap magic 3.8 and a flip top.
Triggering the exploit requires a way of installing the modified files to the Memory Card, which is not possible by normal means. Installation is accomplished either from a console (modified or with the exploit already installed), a Memory Card reader/writer, or through the use of some commercial programs allowing USB flash drive to Memory Card transferences, such as Code Breaker (versions 8 and higher) or Action Replay MAX, by transferring a modified System Settings save file.
After making the installation disc, burn it. Then use swap magic as usual and instead of inserting the backup game disc, insert the disc you just created.
Basically the process involves 'exploiting' your memory card by transferring some files (including uLaunchELF) to your memory card. Once the exploit is installed, you will be able to launch ELF files with uLaunchELF from a USB drive, memory card, hard drive, etc.
