What are you talking about? Convert to DVD? I don't see anything like that mentioned.
If you're talking about DivXtoDVD, I used it, and there was no watermark, and it never asked me to buy it.
Here is the "Read Me" file that came with it. Notice the line in bold letters:
DivxToDVD by VSO-Software
This is a sneak preview of DivxToDVD, which launches development of new products in the future.
At this time the application is designed to convert files (AVI, DIVX, VOB, satellite streams, MPEG, IVX, WMV etc.) to a compatible DVD file structure. This can be useful if you want to watch a video file on your TV using a standard home DVD player rather than on your PC.
How it works:
Select your video file (only one in the current version), select the output folder, and press Convert.
During the process the preview window allows you to check if the file is correctly readable and not damaged.
The conversion time depends on your computer's speed and overall configuration.
Once finished, it will try to launch CopyToDVD to burn, which is the recommended burning engine to use, but you can also use other DVD recording products.
This version is free, future versions will implement new features and may not be free anymore.

JVC was linking you to the older "free" version of VSO's DivxtoDVD...this program was replaced by ConvertXtoDVD, but is still free and doesn't include a watermark. Good luck with DVD Flick.

I just love it when people asks for help, and then complain about what you suggest, without even checking into it!

If he had bothered to check it out, instead of jumping to conclusions, he'd have seen that! It's no wonder a lot of the older, more knowledgeable members are leaving this site!
Don't ask for help, if you're not willing to look into the help that's offered!
