hey, my frend bricked his psp by installing a cxmb, he can access recovery mode but not the xmb, how do u downgrade bac to 1.5

Download and extract this RECOVERY file (It will extract a RECOVERY folder).

Have him go into Recovery mode and Toggle USB. Then place the recovery folder into the ms0:/PSP/GAME folder.

Now disable the USB connection by selecting Toggle USB again.

Then have him select "RUN PROGRAM AT /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP

Now follow the on screen instructions and he will be at 1.50.

Make sure if he installs CXMB themes that it is 3.52 M33 compatible.

He should also make a backup of his flash0 folder. To do this go to recovery menu then Advanced then Toggle flash0. Now drag the files and folders over to a backup folder on PC. That way he can recover the flash0 folder with the backup if the XMB ever becomes corrupt again.
